Larissa Redmond Thompson, J.D.

Larissa Redmond Thompson is a proud graduate of Christian Brothers University (Memphis, TN), where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature. Thompson graduated from John Marshall Law School (Atlanta, GA) in 2015 with a Juris Doctorate; as well as completed her studies at Capella University with a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a focus on Non-Profit Leadership & Management. In 2019, Larissa became an Adjunct English Professor at Southwest Tennessee Community College, where she teaches Intro to English.  She is the Founder and Executive Director of the Collegiate Life Investment Foundation (CLIF), and currently serves as the Chief Operational Officer at a prominent church in Memphis, TN.

In 2019, Larissa decided to finally go public and established The Ghost WritHer Consulting, LLC., as a career and academic writing ghost writing consulting firm. After years of helping others and providing literary insight on projects, Larissa decided it was time to combine her passion for writing and helping others.  Thousands of projects and hundreds of clients later, The Ghost WritHer has provided literary guidance in many areas: resumes, cover letters, personal statements, academic essays /papers and thesis, social media content, and blog writing.  In February 2020, Larissa was contracted to ghost write her first fiction novel.

Larissa regularly travels state-wide to deliver speeches and seminars about the dangers of distracted driving, and serves as a Traffic Educator Consultant in the City of Collierville (Tenn). Her work was recognized by Tennessee Department of Transportation and Homeland Security, and Governors Highway Safety Office when she was selected to be a recipient of the Directors Award at the 2016 statewide safety conference.  Over the years Larissa has been highlighted by several prominent companies including serving as a guest blogger for UHAUL’s Moving Insider Blog, she was named an Advocate for Change by AT&T, and was the selected speaker for the 2015 Tennessee Governor’s Highway Safety Office “Thumbs Down to Texting While Driving” Campaign. Larissa was chosen as a 2017 Top 20 under 30 recipient for the Memphis Flyer magazine, for her efforts throughout the Mid-South.  She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporate, Junior League of Memphis, and a host of other professional organizations across the country.

 Larissa is the proud wife of Mr. James C. Thompson and the mother of one daughter, Shelby. Writing is not only what she does, but what she loves!
